How I became a Binaural Beats App Developer

💜 I created this app from a deeply personal place. In all it took me almost five years to become a binaural beats app developer and also get to a position where I was comfortable not just releasing Binaural Beats Studio, but also sharing why I created it. This wasn't just a technical challenge for me; it was also a personal one. I am proud to be a Binaural beats app developer and hope this app can help others like my mum.

For years, I watched my mum live with peripheral neuropathy - navigating daily discomfort, searching for moments of relief. During those difficult times, I saw how something as simple as calming sound could bring her a sense of peace, even if just for a little while.

That stayed with me.

Why This Matters for the Future

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 I share the same condition, and there’s a strong chance my children may face it one day too. This app began as something I wanted to create for my family - a small but meaningful way to offer comfort, calm, and support both now and in the future.

The code began as just some script I had on a hidden page on one of my websites. Today I've made those pages available for you, and you can find in the Free Resources on this website. Back then it was just for personal use, and I played with it and refined it to perform better and cleaner. But as I built it, over the years I realised it could be of benefit to a wider audience.

🌱 So, I figured out how to turn it into an App, and I made it for you as well.

Why I only Charge the Price of a Cup of Coffee

Whether you’re looking to ease anxiety, improve focus, sleep better, or simply find a moment of stillness in a noisy world - this is for you. That’s also why I chose to keep the app completely ad-free, and the upgrade priced at no more than a cup of coffee - so it remains accessible to as many people as possible.

🙏 If this app has helped you find even a little more calm, clarity, or relief, I’d be truly grateful if you shared it with someone who might need it too, and consider the Premium Upgrade or supporting it with a small donation. The app platforms constantly change how they implement code and improve quality, so even when you don't see new features Developers have to work hard in the background just keeping things update as technology grinds forward.

💝 Your support helps me continue improving the app, keeping it accessible, and growing this project into something that can help even more people.

✨ Thank you for being part of it.

5 Tips from a Binaural Beats App Developer to his Community

1. Give Your Brain Time to Settle

Don't expect instant results. Most people need 10–20 minutes for their mind to relax and adjust to the audio. Try listening consistently for a week before deciding which frequencies work best for you. Like meditation, the benefits often become more noticeable with regular practice rather than a single session.

2. Choose the Right Frequency for Your Goal

Different frequencies are designed for different situations. Delta and Theta are popular before sleep or meditation, Alpha is ideal for relaxed focus and mindfulness, Beta works well for studying or productive work, while Gamma (around 40Hz) is often chosen for deep concentration and cognitive tasks. Matching the frequency to your intention can make your listening sessions feel much more purposeful.

3. Use Good Headphones (It Really Matters)

Binaural beats only work correctly when each ear receives a different tone, so stereo headphones are essential. You don't need expensive audiophile headphones—any comfortable pair with clear left and right channels will do—but listening through speakers won't produce the intended binaural effect.

4. Create a Listening Ritual

Your brain loves routines. Try listening in the same place and at roughly the same time each day. Whether it's ten minutes before work, during your lunch break, or as part of your bedtime routine, this consistency helps your brain associate the audio with relaxation, focus, or sleep. Over time, simply pressing play can become a cue for your mind to enter the desired state more easily. As a binaural beats app developer my rituals play a mjor part in my life. The more relaxed I am, the clearer my thoughts are and the more I'm able to create better apps; like Simple Breathing.

5. Experiment and Trust Your Own Experience

There is no "perfect" frequency that works for everyone. Some people love pure binaural beats, while others prefer them mixed with rain, ocean waves, white noise, or ambient music. Try different frequencies, session lengths, and background sounds, and keep track of what feels most effective for you. Your personal experience is far more valuable than following someone else's recommendations.

Bonus Tip: Keep the volume comfortable. Louder isn't better. Binaural beats work through the difference between the tones, not their intensity. A gentle listening level is usually more relaxing and allows you to enjoy longer sessions without causing listening fatigue.
